Royals Practice

Alex had his first baseball practice of the year.  It was 60 degrees but howling winds.  We dressed them in their new matching “Foster Baseball” sweatshirts.  We picked them up from daycare and got them into the car.  As soon as we told Alex he had practice he lit right up….but Casey fell to pieces because he wanted “to practice with Alex”.  It was precious.

Once at practice Alex had a lot of fun and so did Casey.  Casey played at the playground at Peony Park and also got to “play the field” and shag balls while Alex hit.  It was also obvious that Alex was a year older and better than last year.

Valerie and I finalized out cabinet selections for the new house today.  Pretty exciting!  Life is crazy trying to deal with selling the house, packing, moving, Alex’s birthday and building the new house…but we feel very blessed and fortunate.
