RE: From the mouths of Foster Boys

Alex has grown up so much in the last 6 weeks, e is polite and kind.  He likes to take care of his little brother -- more then Casey thinks he should be doing.  When Alex is "helping" a little too much Casey likes to say "are you da mommy? NO then back off!"

 

On sunday night we (mom) backed a bunch of Christmas cookies and we delivered them to our neighbors.  The boys did a great job handing out the plates and saying "Merry Christmas".  I think they really enjoyed giving.

One of Alex’s best friends right now is Tyler who is in his class.  Tyler has a twin Zach and we asked if Tyler had a twin and Alex said yes but he is in a different class.  We also know there is a set of girl twins in his class as well and I asked Alex if there were more twins in his class and he said, “No”.  He hesitated a little and then said, “But there are 2 girls with the same head.”

 

Alex’s Christmas concert is coming up on Thursday.  Per Alex they are singing “Away in the Majors”.

 

Casey likes to express himself by using his words.  His favorite at the moment is “Stupid Ask”.  After he says it he likes to rub his cheek against ours and say in the sweetest voice, “I’m Sorry”.

 

Both of them are absolutely loving the snow.  We had 14” last Wednesday and they went sledding and played with the Rosenmeyer boys.  We moved into the new house a month ago and everyone has missed Rex.  Prior to moving Alex and Rex were not close but now they are.  Casey loves to come into the room and cuddle with Rex.
